Is there a difference between AEIRO’s NPBI® technology versus other ionization technology?
Yes. Some ionization technologies employ high-power energy methods that create a strong electrical field, known as hard ionization. Hard ionization typically operates at high energy and can produce a complex spectrum of fragmented ions that can generate harmful gases like ozone and other volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). AEIRO’s soft ionization technology, needlepoint bipolar ionization (NPBI®), is certified ozone free and generates no harmful VOC’s or gases.
